ALBEDO

Honest Horology. No Compromises.

Albedo was born in Horst, The Netherlands, out of a simple frustration: the fact that "affordable" watches are often built to be disposable. We saw beautiful designs ruined by scratched acrylic crystals and "genuine" leather straps that fell apart in months. We decided to change that.

Our philosophy is to bridge the gap between high-end luxury and honest value. We don't believe Sapphire glass or Italian Full-Grain leather should be expensive "upgrades", they are our baseline. By stripping away traditional industry markups and investing directly into the materials, we create timepieces that feel as significant as the milestones they mark.

The Albedo 1901 - Mechanical Soul

Our debut model is a tribute to the golden age of horology. It is a nod to vintage aesthetics, powered by a mechanical heartbeat that speaks to those who appreciate the "old-school" soul of watchmaking. Featuring an upgraded Golden Swan-Neck Regulator for pinpoint precision and paired with hand-stitched Full-Grain Italian leather, the 1901 is designed to be worn, admired, and eventually passed on.

The Albedo Solaris – Modern Utility

While the 1901 captures the soul of the past, the Solaris is built for the challenges of the present. It is our vision of the ultimate "Everyday Rugged" timepiece, a watch with the soul of a tank and the elegance of a dress watch.

Forged from surgical-grade 316L stainless steel and driven by a precision Japanese VK63 Meca-Quartz movement, the Solaris offers the mechanical sweep of a chronograph with "set-it-and-forget-it" reliability. We obsessed over the dimensional contrast: combining a high-depth sunburst dial with concentric azurage graining on the subdials. With a Sapphire crystal (AR coated), 100m water resistance, and BGW9 SuperLuminova, the Solaris doesn’t just survive the journey, it belongs there.

The Heart of the 1901

THE SOUL OF A MECHANICAL CHRONOGRAPH.
Inside the 1901 beats the historically renowned ST-1901 movement. Originally based on the Swiss Venus 175, this column-wheel chronograph offers a storied legacy of precision.

The Golden Upgrade: We didn't stop at the standard. Every 1901 is equipped with an upgraded Golden Swan-Neck Regulator. This doesn't just look beautiful through the exhibition caseback—it allows for micro-adjustments that ensure long-term accuracy and easier maintenance for years to come.
